This policy explains what personal data clippd ("we", "us") collects when you use clippd.shop, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email support@clippd.shop.

Data we collect

• Account data — email address, and name or avatar if you sign in with Google.
• Membership data — your plan, status, renewal date and download history.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Technical data — basic log and device information used to keep the service secure.

How we use it

• To create your account and give you access to the clip library at your tier.
• To take payment, manage renewals and issue refunds.
• To enforce fair-use limits (for example, monthly download caps).
• To send service emails such as receipts, renewal notices and important changes.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the platform secure and preventing abuse.

Who we share with

We share data only with the providers needed to run clippd: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider (account and clip data), and email delivery services. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

Account and membership records are kept while your account is active and for up to 6 years afterwards where required for tax and accounting. You can request deletion at any time and we will remove anything we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to certain processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Email support@clippd.shop and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in and to secure the admin area. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

clippd is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
